Last night we packed up the Jeep and hit the road. After 5 hours or so we arrived in Wellsboro, PA. I have been coming up to this place for years now and I knew Teri would love it as much as I do. We spent the night in an old hotel downtown. It had that air of “kitschy” old-timey and almost rundown feel that we both enjoy at times.

Today we spent the day simply exploring the region. The weather was PERFECT!! Cool, sunny, with just a few clouds here and there. In fact, the skies were so clear last night that we took a detour down a country lane to get even further from lights. When we stoped and got out we were stunned at how clearly we could see the Milky Way. Needless to say I enjoyed stealing a romantic kiss there…

After a lot of driving around, “scouting” out the area we went for a bike ride down the Pine Creek Gorge Trail. The light was just perfect, that crystalline clarity that seems to be defining this day.

I truly love this woman. She simply amazes me.
