Ready? 1 . . . 2 . . . aw! He moved!

Home, front yard

This was not a planned shot, nor did I have any intention of posting it. My new lens arrived today . . . well, new to me, anyway . . . and I was just testing it out.
The bee was originally on the flower, as you can tell by the area that's in focus. He took off right when I snapped it.
But after I pulled it off the camera, I thought it looked kinda neat. So here it is, anyway.

Sony DSLR-A100 ,Minolta 75-300mm f/4.5-5.6 AF
1/320s f/5.6 at 300.0mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

I really dislike a bee that refuses to cooperate :>) The salvia is lovely anyway.

I'd say that was better than "kind a neat" Scott, I'd say it's a terrific capture! GMV
