Here we were traveling east toward Juneau from Icy Strait Point, and I got to watch several hours of sunset/twilight. The layers of mountains, accentuated by layers of clouds, mist, and water colors were well worth missing sleep. This photography was a constant challenge, given the low light levels and the need to have a shutter speed high enough to minimize the blur caused by the ship's vibrations, working with a camera that gets pretty "noisey" at any ISO above 200. However, I'm pleased with the results and have sold several copies of this image at 11x14 (28x36cm)or 16x20 (41x51cm)size.
