Bald Eagles migrate to the Wolf Lodge area of Lake Coeur d' Alene every winter to feed on spawning Kokanee Salmon. Although we have a few year round Bald Eagle residents the eagles numbers peak at around 70-100 birds approx. during this winter migration.
