This photo illustrates another problem with not researching shoots properly. I knew about the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, but I didn't realize that the sheer numbers of bikes would create
congestion this far from Sturgis. The bikers were very cordial and respectful of others, but their numbers made it difficult to find a room or a place to eat within hundreds of miles of the rally. I
stole this shot while the folks were posing for another camera. To get the following shot, I drove away from the monument and climbed up a steep road embankment to rise above the traffic below.
