Month #29 - Retrospective of Daily Photos posted from 5/04 to 12/09 (most viewers for the month)
At the time, 9/06, this type of shot was a new adventure for me. I've gotten away from it the past year or two and will have to give it a try again soon - but it takes special conditions beyond just the rising sun; a heavy ground fog helps provide a nice warm glow (and saves the eyeballs). Here's what I wrote in 9/06.
9/10/06 - Grass Silhouette at Sunrise
For me, technically, this is a difficult shot to get sharp focus, not blow out the highlights (especially the rising sun), and not ruin my eye. I got the framing almost right - just cropped the left side away; the rest is as it was shot. Probably needed just a hair more at the top.
