I'm so glad I got my 'puter back in time for the Thursday
Totally Informal TransGlobal Challenge ~ "What is it?"
And, don't be fooled, it's not as easy as you might think;
unless, of course, you live in Southern California! LOL.

A quick note of Thanx to some really neat peeps here on
Pbase that inquired as to how we're doing... Kathy, Buz, Scott
& Tom are all really awesome & I love you guys!! Also, thanx
to Sheila for keeping me posted on the Challenge ~ I feel
honoured to get to participate with all of the "greats"!

I would have thought it a rose as well. :) Glad to hear your computer is back up and running. :)

Is it a rose (or some type of briar) with Yucca in the background??? Super composition and contrast! Welcome back :)

This one is a thorn in the side ;-)

It looks dangerous, Collen!
But I've no idea what, Bougainvillia perhaps?

Definitely no rose, I suppose. But a fine shot.

Don't know what it is but I'm glad your back. Nice macro, sharp focus and very colorful.

I have no idea. I have spent limited time in So. California.
But, I like the framing; and welcome back to cyberspace.

must be some sort of cactus . . since the first thing that came to mind was a rose stem . . .
