Todd this is Russ Ehlert, today I hit an owl, big one, I was thinking about picking it up and freezing it. Do you think the DNR would want it to preserve it for exhibition or should I leave it be?

This is in response to the comment below. The game warden picked up the injured eagle after it had been hit by a car and could not fly. It was cared for at the Feather and released back where it was found after it could fly again.
