I had a wander around the gum creek having a close look at the shrubs and trees and the distant hills. The towns are few and far between - we'd travelled for most of 2 hours from Broken Hill when we took a break for a cuppa and stretch of the legs and there's no town in that stretch of road - just the odd station homestead on the distant horizon.
