The Long March

Perth, Western Australia

The Pinnacle Desert

Thousands of eerie limestone pillars, up to 4m tall form the Pinnacle Desert.
Locating within the Nambung National Park,
the desert area is about 200 km from the city of Perth.
The moonscape scenery is made by the pillars rising out of the stark desert landscape of yellow quartz sand.

What a surreal landscape, made even more so with the dark ominous sky contrasting with the sunny foreground and long shadows.
