"If I Could Only Fly" is a great recording.

Country music is not what I listen to on a regular basis, but I do like a lot of it. I have had some great times in Nashville at the Blue Bird, Tootsie's, the Wild Horse Saloon, Music Row, Lonnie's Western Room, and the like... but I never would have expected a country recording to make it to this gallery.

My cousin loaned me this CD in 2000 for a listen and I became hooked. At 63, Merle's voice never sounded better. The writing, phrasing, and delivery is excellent. This recording is very relaxing to me. After 6 years, it continues to get regular play. Give it a try!
