Wilson Pickett was born in Prattville, Alabama in 1941. He died from a heart attack in January of 2006.

This 1999 recording of "It's Harder Now", at the age of 58, was to be his last recording. It was also his first recording of new material in 12 years.

It is also an excellent recording. Mr. "Mustang Sally" is in fine form and his voice is strong. The songs are fun, the band it tight, and the Wicked One delivers with passion in his raw soul-shouting style. This is classic booty shakin' soul music! Get a copy and crank it up!
