While macrophotography opens the photographer to another world, little seen by most, it is generally a rough environment with often exceedingly difficult lighting situations. I enjoy images like "Deep in the Green" because it is so very peaceful. It also represents the fact that for years these tiny flowers (about 1/10 of an inch wide) never mattered to me because, quite franlky, they were too small to be seen by me. Their delicate beauty was revealed to me only through the macro lens.
