Orphan in the Storm

This little creature was very confused when Bill lifted the garage door. It just stayed there and didn't run off so I figured it was hungry and/or sick. Tried to give it some milk by forcing open its mouth and feeding with an eye dropper but it didn't take it eagerly. After a few moments it ran off. I was happy to see it do so. I put the camera bag in the picture so you could judge the size of the tiny thing. That's the bag in which I carry my A610.

Canon PowerShot A610
1/80s f/4.5 at 8.5mm full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Yes, it is definately old enough to be on its own. What a cutie!

Love to see little cottontails, they are so cute. He/she is pretty well on it's way at this size, must be very wary though.

It's very cute but I hope you didn't try to give it cows milk, never give a rabbit cows milk. It has to be goat's milk. Cow milk promotes the buildup of stomach gases and can rupture their sensitive stomachs.

Oh my, sure hope he found his mom! How tiny!

Poor little thing. Can't imagine how terrifying that hail would be if you were that size.

I hope so. That baby is only about 5" long.
