Just saw on the other tripe pic that the prop is wood, my mistake!

This Tripe replica is very in-accurate! Short landing gear, radio antennas on the belly, windscreen, axe handles used for wing tip skids, tailwheel, the FOK # is oversized, filler cap on top of cowl, access door near the cowl, in-accurate sized crosses on the wings and wheels, and to nitpick - original tripes never had crosses on the wheels, and the pilot is sitting too high - originally the pilot sat much much lower, two cockpit climb steps - only supposed to have one on the left side of the fuselage, the cowling itself is extended forward more than on an original to accomadate this modern engine. And, last but not least, the Fok.F1# was on a Fokker F1, which was a different model than the Fokker Dr-1. Hard to tell also, but the prop on this ship may be metal, another no no. i know that most replicas of the Dr-1 are not exactly like the originals, but this one takes the cake - UGH!!!!
