Dead-end canyon and the La Sal Mountains

Atop the "rest break blob" north of Delicate Arch

After I got tired of watching the hikers I exlplored the blob. This shot was taken
from the east end of the blob, where it merges with the rest of the plateau. The
view is to the southeast, long the axis of the dead-end canyon explored earlier
on the hike ( http://www.pbase.com/listorama/2006ut1_arch_deadend ).

Delicate Arch is to the right of the ridge points.
