14th July

The swans from the Castle are now in the sea,
they took their annual walk from the Castle to the sea
through the town a few days ago,
There was no need for a Police Escort this time though
as it was an early morning walk! (about 8am)
most of the island(including me) were still in bed or getting ready for work
so there's no pic this year of them holding up the traffic!

been nice and sunny today! 8-)

The cygnets stay with their parents for three years I believe Shiela.
Lucky them, we've got our weans for at least eighteen years. lol.
And still cost us a fortune too.

Those cygnets look too big to be still living with mum!
No, papajim, I noticed the boats name too LOL!

Cracking shot and lovely story.

Would you like an alarm clock?

Am I the only one to notice the unfortunate phonetic pronunciation of the boat's name?

Oh, how very beautiful--the parents and their babies. I am so sorry (therefore, I) missed the march from the Castle to the Sea.

Looks like the Dad and Mum swans have a lot of hungry mouths to feed!
