Mike, great idea.

I like the overall balance of contrast and sharpness around Annie's eyes, the flash certainly helped.

Perhaps you could rotate the image clockwise slightly, bringing the line of contrast near the middle of the picture to the vertical, and then crop so this line is dead centre ?
