3:30 am is a pretty early hour to embark on an adventure.
After what seemed like an eternity, we finally touched down in Grand Cayman.
I met JT one year ago during the last Stay-Focused trip that I was involved in. It was JT's first trip and my fourth. Stay-Focused is a non-profit that provides an adaptive SCUBA diving program for young adults with paraplegia.
This particular trip is a little different than most. It is a "reunion" trip for several participants who earned their certification last year. So, when we head out to the ocean tomorrow, I'll be diving not with students but with fellow certified SCUBA divers who bring the energy and enthusiasm that comes with youth.
