I'm reminded of the Edmund Fitzgerald, about whom Gordon Lightfoot so nicely sung.
This boat did not sink, run aground, strike a buoy (Dan Dunn will appreciate that), or accidentally run up a tributary by mistake. However, the pilots were not sure where I was, so they spent a few minutes looking for me downstream. They spotted me when I waved a colorful duffel bag.

They probably took a wrong turn and ran into the Maid of the Mist. You know how drunken ex Exxon captains can get disoriented. There's not a day that goes by that a tragedy like this does not happen on America's fine waterways!
