Tree Rot

Forest Park, Queens NY

This small section of a larger rotted area of an old tree, was over 2' wide and at least 15' tall. The tree, obviously, was quite a bit larger than it's rot-spot. Pretty extreme rot, IMO, for a tree that's still alive!

Elegant colors and textures (and I want a larger version...ok, I'm fixated :-) -Michael

I like this too, love the multitude of textures and subtle vs vibrant colours, I can see a little person holding a rope and climbing the green moss covered mountain at about the three o'clock position (and I havn't been drinking!). Good post ~ Bob

I like this shot a lot. What does that say about someone that likes a rotting tree more than a guy with big eyes?":^) Anyway, I really like the natural colors and textures, cool! On topic? Humm, extremely rotted, yah. -mikey
