Looking north along the bench that runs parallel to the river (out of view at left).
My walking route stayed close to the base of the cliff. The red boulders have fallen
from the face of the cliff; the white ones from the layer of White Rim sandstone
atop the cliff. Above it all is the butte of Dead Horse Point State Park.
