I've spoken before about that time in a very young life when a little human starts becoming a person. But, it still amazes me.
This is Randy and her mom. For just about all of Randy's life, she has been coming to the rock climbing gym every two weeks to accompany her older brother, Peter, who climbs with us in our Peak Potential program. I've always enjoyed seeing Randy...cute babies are fun to have around.
Today, I saw something different...I saw Randy point at her big brother on the climbing wall, smile, and then cheer.
Kids grow up making connections with the people and the World around them. I guess you have to embrace them and surround them with good souls, for it is these connections that create the framework for building our lives.
