Mike, you seem to have pushed the contrast (or maybe it's the sharpness) rather extremely here but I really like the effect. The detail leaps out at me and I like the off center alignment of the text on the manhole cover which offsets the dead center location of the cover in the frame. This is very attractive and a bit unusual.
