Such emotion from this image - his pain is palpable. I want to reach out and offer comfort in some way.

What is striking is the simplicity/natural of the scene: the may he is kneeling, how his clothes fall, the two pieces of garbage paper, the tightness of the place, the offerings (including a paper cup), and... the two small stone lions who look after every visitor who may come to this tomb.

the photo on the grave give me the feeling that this man is here for his son... but, anyway, this is a very beautiful moment, greatly composed.

I agree with what Claude Renault said. This is the capture of a great moment. Your point of view adds something (I can't explain what right now, if I find I'll come back).

I can't read the inscription but I can see the face on the tomb and it's calm demeanor stands in sharp contrast to the grieving mourner. A very emotional image, Kal.
