Great work! No need to say more...

I like the way the man appear beetween light and shadow, like a musical link beetween two worlds.
For the rest, Alem said it...

I can only add one detail that people below seem to have overlooked, but I agree it's only a small detail: The big world has little to offer to this man, that's right, and greatly portrayed.... and emphasized by the supporting pole of the construction behind him, that seems to rest on his back. The weight is heavy.

Very compelling image - hard to add too much to the conversation. I really like the colors and point of view. Not sure I totally agree with Phil's comments about how the world offers so little to this man. To me, there is a sense of joy about him - he is content and in "his own little world." But, what do I know?

Jen articulates the very question you ask your viewers to answer with this image. Why indeed does this big world have so little to offer this man of talents? And Jen also points out the importance of the reflections behind him -- he is surrounded with people, but nobody cares to listen. Both Jen and you have often addressed this theme in your imagery, and this photograph takes its place as a worthy addition to those works of expression.

beautiful colour on this shot. Lucie and Alem nailed it and you nailed the shot. V

Oh Wow! What a point of view! I love, once again, the combination of one still figure with others that are moving... And I agree with alem for the rest...

Filip...Nanjing Lu about 500m east of the Portman Hotel on the south side of the road. He plays in diffrent places along the road, but he is usually there every night. ;-))K

WOW...excellent! Really love the motion in this shot as well as the reflection of the second couple that is not visible in the frame. Now tell me...where was this taken?

Great street scene, full of motion!

The pair of couples emphasise the street musician's solitude being bathed in golden light while he bows them a melody from the shadows that they appear to ignore. A flash of colour in this gallery - great stuff kal

For this kind of photos, you don't usually use color, but in this case you did, I guess you want to present and bring us up close to the REAL world, a world full of enjoyment and bitterness, a world full of love and pain...The colors here are so vivid, and so do the emotions. The reflection on the mirror at the man's back almost like the reflection of the couple on the right side, and with two couples appear on both side of the man making him to be even lonely and sad... Why this big world has too little to offer this man....

I love it a lot!

You eye is always ironic and bitter and intelligent. Bravo, once again. And as usual.
