Strong portrait. Sad in one sense. But not only sad. This woman seems to have something else than sadness in her expression.

See, this is what I mean if I say you have lots more possibilities to make compelling compositions. This type of image is just not possible here.

Amazing shot, Kal. Really shows the other side of Shanghai that not many people get to see (unless they live here long-term or if they're locals). Her living conditions, compared to the mansions found in other parts of the city, are just heartbreaking. Excellent documentary work.
