You may wonder about the different sky color from shot to shot; there are a couple of reasons for this. I tooks these photos during two performances on two days; the sky conditions varied slightly. The main reason is that I was shooting with a polarizing filter to darken the sky and reduce glare; a polarizer works most effectively at one particular orientation with respect to the sun, so with the action in the sky at all points of the compass, the effects of the the polarizer vary widely from frame to frame.
