The historic British racer G-AEXF, the Percival E.2H Mew Gull. This is one of England's most storied aircraft from the golden age of air racing in the 1930's. Seeing it at Reno is a bit of a shock to the system: it's as if they were to pull Lindbergh's Spirit of St Louis out of the Smithsonian and ship it to an airshow in Burundi. It garners almost no attention from the Reno race fans, many of whom are here largely to party hearty and watch the Unlimiteds roar around at 400+ mph.
