Another day, another drama or two. Today is a holiday in the Bonnie city of Dundee. They call it the Dundee Fast, but it is really just a name that they've made up to make up for Easter not falling kindly. It is a bit of a stretch to call it a holiday anyway, since just about nowhere is closed - most businesses are waiting until Easter hits us properly, when they will close on the Friday and Monday as usual. Nevertheless, since Linda is a local government officer, she is off, as is Liam, since the schools are closed for the next two weeks. The lucky beggar is off to the Lake District with his friend, Michael. They are staying at Michael's grandparents' house on the banks of Lake Windermere until Thursday, and have all sorts of adventures planned to keep them busy - such as boating on the lake, fellwalking, mountainbiking and high rope walking through the national park's forest. At least he's got the weather for it now that spring has finally decided to make an appearance. As for the dramas... well, I switched on my computer this morning only to be faced with the 'blue screen of death' announcing that I needed to contact my hardware vendor. Being reasonably well versed in the peccadiloes of my troublesome machine, I knew that it was really telling me that I had some faulty RAM. (If the truth be known, the man at the computer repair shop told me that that was the most likely cause.) I headed off for a new RAM stick and couldn't lock the car door with the key when I arrived. Off then to Deke (my trusty mechanic) to get it booked in for new doorlocks, which he said he can do tomorrow. Content, I drove home and managed to lock the car keys inside the car!
