"Peacock by Peter Siejka

This wonderful shot was captured in a park in Warsaw where, according to Peter, "peacocks are very used to people". Peter used a Canon 10D with a 135mm f/2L USM lens and the aperture was wide open at f2.
"I used the shallow depth of field to concentrate on the peacock's head, which also nicely brought out the colours of the tail feathers."
He used Photoshop Elements to improve the contrast, saturation and sharpness.
