"Pienza Landscape by Piotr Siekja

Piotr's excellent image was taken near the city of Pienza (which is actually in the picture), located south of Siena in Tuscany, Italy. "What attracted me to the scene was the lone poppy in the field; very fresh colours and beautiful evening light coming from my left-hand side..."
Piotr used the Canon 1D Mk2 with a prime 24 1.4L lens, a polariser and a tripod. He boosted the saturation and sharpened the image in Photoshop Elements."
