The Bald Eagle eaglet is now about 59 days old. Late yesterday, the "chick" hopped down and then this morning hopped down to even a lower limb. The male parent brought food to it and they feed on this limb several feet below the nest. All day the "chick" looked up and down his perch for a way back up to the nest. Soon it should begin flying.
