Another from our visit to the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga on March 4, 2006
Yeah yeah I know this isn't really a Photo-A-Day but a reminder that I am doing a Photoshoped image "a day (sorta)" in 2006 to focus on workflow and learning post production in general.
The lesson for today was to be brave and adjust one image in RAW and then batch process the rest based on it's parameters.
The action I set up also resized, sharpened and saved as a .jpg after converting from RAW. I am used to individual attention to every image I post (well not that much attention) but learning to deal with alot of images sometimes just takes faith (thru practice to build confidence) to batch process a folder full of images. Well this worked because all of the images from the Jelly fish tank were shot in manual mode so I didn't change the shutter speed or aperture so that made batching easier since I didn't have to brighten some and darken others. Since they all had the same tonalities from being shot the same way.
