HA! It is my car! :( Well today me and Abby spent much of the day taking a slow drive thru the GSM NP and this evening around sunset we saw several deer moving to cross the fields in the center of cades cove. They cross the same paths daily so I knew where they were going to cross/jump the fences to get from one field to the next.
Well another car came very close to where I was set up and that pushed the doe's back about 20-30 yards. So instead of a nice open field as the background that I was set up for the deer were pushed to cross between me and my car so I have some lovely shots of deer gracefully crossing/jumping the road in the sweetest saturated light I have seen in weeks with my lovely car in the background.
Oh well, wildlife photography is always unpredictable and never isolated or private when in Cades Cove. You have to work with the elements that are working against you and sometimes it just doesn't go your way.
