My friend, Lindy Boggs, turned 90 this weekend. Her family held a reception in New Orleans in honor of the occasion. Lindy served as U. S. Congresswoman for 18 years following the disappearance of her husband, Congressman Hale Boggs. From 1994 to 2000 she served as the U. S. Ambassador to the Holy See (the Vatican). No grass grows under her feet.
