Didn't get to see the sepia version but must agree the B&W environment vs color child makes for a dramatic subject/composition.

The living and the dead, together in the same water once brought forth life itself. Good concept. But why sepia? It makes the image look dated. Why not black and white, Xin? It would make more universal in its content.
