Hi Sheena, I enjoyed your wonderful, breathtaking images in this gallery. And I especially enjoy looking at the picture of the photographer, how would she feel and how would she express herself in the context of the great nature. I see two Sheena here, but both are just shadows, the only concrete thing is the tripod and the camera. But the good thing is that you seem already come out of the sea of darkness as it at the bottom of the picture. Hope you find what you are looking for on the trip Sheena, keep in touch!
Wonderful self portrait, Xin -- but crop out some of that black at the bottom, which will make you stand out a bit more. Right now, the darkness swallows you. I love the empty bench on the dune -- an incongruous touch. It also makes the point that you are not one of those who sit around and admire nature from a distance. You immerse yourself in it.
