Manifold adapter for lpr hoses

Why the manifold adapter, just tap into the body, correct? I wish it were that easy.

To enter the body lp barbs must be installed. Two of the holes that enter the body are only about 1/8 of an inch deep before elbowing, and most tap sets need to go past the actual hole to cut the threads by about 1/2 an inch.

And the other issue was the holes are so close together that the barbs would touch. So a manifold with holes off set from the body holes makes more room for the barbs and can be tapped for threads. I made a gasket from masking tape, yes masking tape, it worked for one side of the ram/3-way, but the other side slightly leaked. So I am going to use electrical tape next. I think that should do the trick and if not I'll cut up an old bicycle inner tube, lol. Pic is not so great, but you can see the body holes to the left of the plate.
thank you for viewing,
