Resting on the Limbs

Simi Sky

* 2-6-05 *

Shot while there was still some sunshine left, I love how the
moon appears to be resting within the bare arms of the tree ~

Had to run back in tho, and finish the game; CONGRATS to Bill
& the STEELERS Crew from a die hard 1970's Terrible Towel Fan ~

Colour version of this shot is here http://www.pbase.com/image/55779466
I'm trying to keep a colour image of each B&W in the IN box, altho
I'm thinking of creating a new gallery for the PaD's in colour; just
'cuz B&W is a whole new world for me & some of the images I feel, on
a personal preference, look better in colour than they do in B&W ...

Excellent timing on this. The moon really pops in this shot.

Reminds me of my "Nesting Moon" photo
which I can't seem to find to link...
Bummer.

Great focus on the waning moon. It really pops out with the super dof and b/w conversion.

Wow, this is superb! Great detail!

Both versions are very nice. However I think this one does work slightly better in B&W. Wonderful composition.

Great detail and interesting comp. Put a alt PaD up and post the thumb under the main PaD, would be interesting to see the two

This is lovely! I agree with you, the moon seems to be nestled by the soft branches. Great shot!
