My Australia Day photograph competition entry

Australia Day is the 26th of January each year. This year one of the daily newspapers along with Canon ran a photograpic competition for $10,000 of prizes.

The subjects had to be Australian, showing the future eg young people involved and some other criteria covering quality etc. There were a number of catagaories.

As you might have gathered I didn't win or even get a place and I haven't seen the winning photos yet.

The photo was a spur of the moment thing, when I was opening some curtains and saw the kids sitting on the footpath talking.
