This is the inner wall of the Terrace of the Leper King with its bas relief of mythical beings - garudas and giants with multiple arms, carriers of swords and clubs, and women with a naked torso.
Some historians think the Leper King represents Kubera, god of wealth, who allegedly was a leper. Others think that this was a funerary temple and that the remains of kings were deposited there after cremation. It is thought, therefore, that the royal crematorium was located on the Terrace of the Leper King.
