Quite a find. This sheath came with a BM30 that was manufactured when Benchmade was still located in Hollywood, CA. I was informed that BM remained in CA for only 2 years which means that this knife was only manufactures for that short period of time. The actual BM30 is quite different (both in blade shape, design and tang stamp) from the Oregon BM30. As you can see the back has two horizontal NON-elastic straps quite diferent from its Oregon brother.
