Autoguider hanging upside-down with its own saddle. Consequently it's very easy to simply attach it to the bottom of any OTA (e.g. an SCT on a Losmandy dovetail). Lens is a cheap Makinon 500mm f8 in a Konica mount, i.e. a 63mm ultra-compact guidescope for around $100 new. Swopped out the Konica bayonet for a home-made tube with a T-thread. The connection to the guider CCD is thus very rigid. Some used 500/8 lenses with a T-mount may still be available, cutting the price way below $100 and reducing the hassle of making the adapter.
