Rosa came to stay this weekend so we went to the Lord Mayor's show today. Consisting of over 5,500 participants, including 2000 servicemen and women, 180 vehicles, 66 floats, 21 marching bands and 21 carriages including the Golden State Coach. The procession was 2.8 miles long but the route was only 1.7 miles. There were fireworks in the evening but we were warm drinking coffee in the Tate Gallery so only saw the last couple of minutes!
