Fading Fast 10_13_05.jpg

This was just a quick photo taken in the pasture across the road from Wanda's oak trees. Nothing too special going on here in this image. I just liked the colors. I must have looked funny laying in the field with the lens resting on my belly while taking this photo.

I'm trying to decide if I should head to Yellowstone in the morning. I managed three free days in a row. It won't be long before Yellowstone is buried deep in snow. I am thinking I should go while I have the chance. What do you all think???

I heard from Bill this evening. He said he got to watch a good fight between Bull Elks. He hopes he managed to capture a good image. Although the moon was already up,. . . . and then said something about 3200 iso? Is that the right lingo? (laffin) I never pay attention to this stuff. Anyway, guess we'll have to wait and see if his pictures turned out.

Well, I'm out the door and head for Yellowstone...I'll be spending my evening along the Madison River photographing elk and whatever else shows up. I'll be back with the photos late Sunday and hopefully have stuff posted by Monday morning.

See you all then.

"Wanda's Oak Trees", where she parks Wanda's new Miata with Wanda's Mountain in the background and Wanda's Cats playing around it in Wanda's yard. I am starting to get the real picture. Wanda is high maintenance. (lol) Gary

I would be going to yellowstone, but I am going elsewhere. You better go, you will be mad if you don't.

Damn I miss the sun... 8 days and still counting. :( This is superb. Love the composition and big lens does a great job.

This is certainly a different treatment.
