Today at work a small litter of kittens was found in the bushes near the front door.

We don't know if mama cat left them there to go for food or if someone just left them there.

Janet went and got them special formula and a heating blanket and nursed them all day long, she used to care for animals at a vet hospital. One kitten, the smallest, passed before the end of the work day. The rest passed at her home that evening. They were exposed to the elements too long that any amount of care would have not been enough.

So hug your pet today. And get your pets fixed!

So given what we saw today, I thought at a PAD of one of our pets would be fitting. Kenai was last, so it is Dixie's turn again.
