Another cup of coffee

This truly is an appropriate image with which to represent my day today.Well, I have to drink copious amounts of coffee just to keep me from dozing off. It works. Occasionally.

Color, for sure. The tones are so rich.

Oh I can soooo relate to this picture! (she says as she sips her Tim Horton's coffee!) Lovely tones!

Looks like you were working well into the night.

My drug of choice. I like the color one because of the odd blue light showing on the left of the frame.

I'm w/ Zak...I like your mug shot!

I vote for the brown toned first one. Nice light and shadows.--Rene

belíssimos detalhes meu caro!
gosto muito da luz.

I prefer my coffee in black and white.
Di06-Oct-2005 14:56
I prefer the warm brown tones of the first image...seems more inviting to me. And, after reading about your day, I think I'll go get another cup myself! Nice job on this one.

Yes, another cup of coffe is allways nice! Very nice shot too, I really like the use of light and shadows.
Karen Stuebing06-Oct-2005 09:51
I like both. I really can't decide. That much coffee would just give me the jitters and make me even more irritated. Look at the bright side. You get to work at home and take as many coffee breaks as you need.

I like the first one better. Great play with light and shadows.

Lovely shapes and very nice dramatic lighting.
Chris06-Oct-2005 01:29
Anytime is coffee time. Excellent drama drawn from the mundane. A cuppa joe to go with the daily bowl.
Guest 06-Oct-2005 00:30
I like the color version better, probably since the toning is more closely coffee colored than not.
Faye White06-Oct-2005 00:04
I agree, dramatic light and simple shapes make an interesting image.
Coleen Perilloux Landry06-Oct-2005 00:01
Like the light and shadow and curve of this.
Buz Kiefer05-Oct-2005 23:55
Very nice lighting Stewart.

Sepia is best (imho) but it's what goes inside the cup that counts.
Sharon Rogers05-Oct-2005 22:02
It makes a great shape and I love the light. ( I prefer the colour one.)
Lee Rudd05-Oct-2005 21:58
got to try something to keep going!
Zak05-Oct-2005 21:34
nice mug shot ;-)

A monotone for monotony? Having edited and proof-read, etc. an academic textbook (with only two writers: related, but totally dissimilar in writing styles and care...), I empathize; but I would never do one again! A nice image to represent your day, though (...and I love the mug's own coffee colouration)! I hope it gets easier....
northstar3705-Oct-2005 21:15
You'll be able to buy your own café with the dosh! I like the non mono, it's not colour and it's not black and white...
Jose Canovas05-Oct-2005 21:14
Hi, these books will convert you in a coffe addict. Fortunately you have a camera to alleviate the strain and bring us your photo skill ;^)

Wonderful monotone! Super light!
