We had our first hard frost here last night. I caught this photo just as the sun rays were peeking over Wanda's mountain. In another minute those rays would remove this little bud from its frosty cocoon.

The image reminds me of the little rose covered by the glass dome in the Disney movie "Beauty and the Beast". The little rose was frozen but still wilting until it was warmed by someones love and kiss. Like the sun kissing this little rose to be.
