Wanda's mountain is ablaze in color. The bright reds of the maples are just about to their fiery peak. You can see aspens, at the 10,000 foot level, are just beginning to turn gold. This year we are having some great Fall colors after several drought caused drab years. It will be a few weeks before the trees in the valleys peak. I do love Fall.
I took this image well after sunset this evening...as you may tell from the length of exposure. I shot from the back corner of our yard. I have a tough time getting a photo I like of Wanda's mountain and this photo doesn't begin to do it justice.
